About Caylynne King
Caylynne Michaela Wakeford (Known online as Caylynne King) was born in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa in 1997. She has been writing since the age of eight years old while focusing on art and music on the side.
Caylynne was nominated by the Writers Guild of South Africa at the 2019 Muse Awards for the pilot episode of Gods and Monsters: The Lock, receiving the nomination as a finalist for outstanding achievement in screenwriting, and earning a certificate for best “TV Drama: Unproduced.”
Besides her love for writing, she is a tattoo artist, and a student and tutor at The University of the Free State.
When she is not crying while killing off a main character, needles-deep in a client who has lied about not drinking the night before, or summoning creatures to help her edit last-minute videos, she can be found reading either text-based or graphic novels, doing tarot readings for her animals, screaming at the sun for the ten-second-sunburn she endured for daring to step outside, and playing the remake of Resident Evil 4 for the "plot".
